Content of services
The CTP offers support tailored to the specific characteristics and challenges of each type of packaging:
Regulatory analysis:
- Identification of the PPWR requirements applicable to the packaging under consideration and the key associated deadlines
- Analysis of the relationship between the PPWR and other applicable regulations, in particular those relating to materials in contact with foodstuffs.
Solution development:
- Optimisation of surface treatments;
- Pilot-scale testing of coating and surface treatment processes;
- Characterisation of barrier properties (oxygen, water vapour, water, fats)
Food contact and substances of concern:
- Heavy metal analysis (Cd, Cr, Pb, Hg)
- Analysis of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)
Technical and large-scale recyclability:
- Verification of the technical recyclability of packaging in accordance with standard NF Q03-018 or the CEPI method
- Verification of the sortability of packaging
- Eco-design recommendations
Recyclability assessment — Assessment of the performance and recyclability of solutions.
