Product design in printed electronics

Imagining and defining new products through printing and converting

  • Defining a new product in conjunction with clients or production facilities
  • Using new inks to give existing products new functions
  • Got an idea in the printed electronics field? We know where to find the means to develop it
  • Printing “electronic” inks, characterising these electronic prints, calculating production costs

Generate Value...

The world of paper/board, plastic and printing needs innovations to create new products with new uses.
Printed electronics is a source of diversification, and the experts at IDTechEX predict that the global market will be worth 300 billion euros by 2030.
The CTP has been invested in printed electronics through exploratory projects since 2008, and in doing so has drawn up a roadmap providing companies looking to get involved in this disruptive innovation with the resources they need.

Context and performance

The CTP has the complete range of printing, converting and characterisation facilities to test and validate all ideas in the field of printed electronics. This ground-breaking field is also referred to printed electronics, as all the resources are perfectly geared to the reference framework (same workshops, same personnel, same tools) used by paper/board manufacturers and conventional printers and converters.

Deliverables

The deliverables differ depending on the levels of collaboration.
They may consist of proofs of concept, but may also go as far as assistance with the start of production at an industrial scale.
