The Centre Technique du Papier (CTP) carries on its mission of being the link between industry and research in the framework of this sanitary crisis. Indeed, CTP focuses its efforts to contribute to set up regional production chains of cellulosic protective masks. The aim is to rapidly turn part of the large paper production capacities into fast speed mask manufacturing facilities, with large production volumes, low price and minimal environmental impact. The first targeted applications are protective mask for non-medical use, to be worn by the majority of the population in order to prevent the virus from spreading.
