♻️ Having turned plastic waste into a resource (#ValoMat), it’s time for a different approach: developing new, high-performance bio-based materials for traditional plastics processing methods (#Cellection).

In the face of climate challenges and regulatory changes, reducing the use of petroleum-based products is a necessity. With the #Cellection project, the CTP (Centre Technique du Papier), the IPC (plastic one), the LGP2 and Citeo are pooling their expertise to offer a promising alternative, at the crossroads of innovation, industrial performance and the green transition.
👇
➡️ Using cellulose fibres as a new raw material
➡️ Producing biodegradable and recyclable 3D-printed objects
➡️ Ensuring compatibility with existing industrial equipment (injection moulding, extrusion)

🎯 A concrete opportunity to:
✔️ Reduce the carbon footprint
✔️ Limit microplastics
✔️ Accelerate the adoption of more sustainable materials

An innovation that brings two worlds together — paper and plastic — to invent the materials of tomorrow.
