CEPI-CTS Service
The Comparative Testing Service was created in 1976 by CTP in collaboration with other papermaking organizations from the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI). This independent service is for all papermakers, printers and converters, and also for users of papers and boards in Europe.
CTP, IS ALSO...
A CEPI-CTS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER...
Based on interlaboratory trials, it aims to provide:
- Means for checking the overall performance of existing testing procedures, from calibration to actual trials,
- A chart control system, that can be used as a complement to calibration and metrological checking, within the framework of accredited or certified operating,
- Means for evaluating test methods.
COODINATING LABORATORY...
CTP acts as a link for 135 subscribers with the 650 European subscribers.
- A laboratory authorized to delivery brightness standards:
CTP is one of the 5 world organizations accredited by the International Organization for Standardization, ISO/TC6, to deliver standards for calibrating optical measurement devices.
Fluorescent and non-fluorescent IR3 pads are thus available through our authorized laboratory.
- And offers on-site analyses with our laboratory trucks:
Assessments: wastewater treatment plants, fresh water consumption, dryer section heat balance, contaminants, cross direction moisture profiles, pressure pulsation analyses, etc.
