The CTP’ s General Research Programme (GRP) is composed of 4 themes

  • Development and Quality of Products
  • Environment – Sustainability
  • Virgin Pulps - IntechFibres

FROM THE IDEA… TO THE PROJECT!

  • The suggestions of new projects come from bilateral contacts in order to take into account the “requirements and needs” from:
    - Industrial groups,
    - Industrial sites,
    - Professional organisations.
  • More than 60 forms recording requirements / ideas are consolidated each year
  • A Programme Committee examines the proposals for steering the General Research Programme for the year to come
  • The scientific evaluation of projects is carried out by the Scientific Council, composed of renowned scientists who give their views on:
    - the GRP’s technical and scientific quality,
    - the results achieved,
    -  R&D’s orientations,
    - the scientific forecasting and the major vital challenges of tomorrow.

THE GRP IS REINFORCED BY A HIGH CORPORATE CULTURE OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT …

  • A portfolio of 180 projects and studies
  • A  management process going from the idea until  the results delivered to the customer which includes:
    - Work planning and progress report,
    - Optimisation of funds,
    - Periodic evaluation of documents delivered and of results for customers.
  • An online project monitoring by using the new Extr@CTP, the extranet secured on the web…
